Overseas Visitors
Please note that if you are visiting from abroad and your country does not have a reciprocal health arrangement with the UK, (EU countries have such an arramgement), then you will be charged for your consultation. We accept cash or cheque payments but we do not currently have credit card facilities.

Current developments in the health policy arena are making early medical diagnosis a more topical issue than ever before. We offer numerous different preventative examinations.

Travel Advice
As the better weather comes around many of us are thinking about travelling abroad. But don't go unprepared! preparing to travel is more than simply remembering which clothes to pack or buying a sun block with high SPF.
Look at our Travel Advice page for more information on which vaccinations you may need for your holiday. A don't forget to leave plenty of time to get them organised!

Maternity Services

The Practice has a number of attached Midwives who work in the Antenatal Clinic that runs on Friday mornings between 9.00am - 12.00pm.
If you have just found out that you are pregnant you will need to make an appointment with the Midwife in the 'Booking in' clinic which runs from 2pm each Monday.

Health Visitors

The Practice offers appointments with the Health Visitor on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of each month between 9.00am - 11.00am.
If you would like to see the Health Visitor please contact reception who will be happy to arrange an appointment for you.
Your baby can be weighed, general advice on feeding, sleeping and parenting is available as well as any area of concern you might have about bringing up your child.

Our attached Physiotherapist, Paul Sewell, runs a clinic at the Practice each Tuesday morning. If you feel you may need physiotherapy please first make an appointment with a Doctor or the Nurse Practitioner who can assess your need and refer where appropriate.

Minor Surgery

We have a fully equipped theatre for minor surgery on the premises. Small surgical procedures such as skin tag removal, sebaceous cyst removal and cryocautery (freezing) can be carried out here.
Please make an appointment with a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner who will assess your suitability for a Moinor Surgery appointment.
Counselling

At some times in our life we need help to make sense of what is happening to us and how we can change the way we feel and behave. The Doctor or Nurse Practitioner may recommend a course of Counselling for you and if you are in agreement sessions can be arranged at the Practice. Our Counsellor Kathleen Kelly will meet with you for an agreed number of sessions to talk about life issues that are troubling you.
Private Medical Examinations

As well as many NHS services we also provide comprehensive private medical Examination Services at highly competitive rates.
